Tessa Constantine of Arlington Heights presented at Carthage College's Diversity Institute. Tessa 's presentation was titled "Sign Language and Deaf Culture: What People Might Not Know".

The Diversity Institute is a student development opportunity consisting of a series of sessions on a variety of diversity topics such as race, gender, privilege, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, and accessibility. Students who attend five or more sessions receive a certificate of completion at the Students Excelling in Activities and Leadership Awards ceremony held each spring.
