Ashley Flood participated in J-Term study tour to Senegal

Ashley Flood of Waukesha, WI participated in a J-Term study tour to Senegal. On this tour, students learned about Islamic culture -- with a particular focus on its impact on the role of women. They also examined the roots of slavery and the effects of French colonialism while experiencing the music, art, people, and natural beauty of West Africa.
