DaQuawn Bruce competes in regional mock trial tournament

DaQuawn Bruce competed for Carthage at the American Mock Trial Association's regional tournament in Toledo, Ohio. DaQuawn received awards for Outstanding Prosecution Witness and Outstanding Defense Attorney. A key member of Carthage's 2016 national championship qualifying team, he became co-captain and won an award at every tournament this season.

At the regional event, the Carthage team was runner-up for the Spirit of Mock Trial Award, which recognizes civility, justice, and fair play.
