Eric Ireland won best research poster at Wisconsin Space Conference

Eric Ireland of Kenosha, WI won the best research poster award in the undergraduate competition at the 24th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference.

There were 10 undergraduate research posters in the competition judged by a panel of Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium advisory council members.

Eric won for the poster "Microgravity Propellant Gauging Using Modal Analysis," a summary of work conducted by the 2014 Carthage Microgravity Team. The winners in the undergraduate and graduate research categories will travel with Carthage Physics Professor Kevin Crosby to the Regional Space Grant Director's Meeting in Des Moines, Iowa where they will present their posters to NASA administrators and the directors and staff of the Great Midwest Regional Space Grants (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin).
