Erlan Wheeler helps Carthage FaceOff! Team win regional competition

Erlan Wheeler of Kenosha, WI helped the Carthage FaceOff! Team win first place in the FaceOff! competition at the Mathematical Association of America's Wisconsin Section meeting at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater on April 4. The team has compiled 10 wins and two second place finishes in their last 12 competitions over a span of six years.

Face Off! is a mathematics quiz show with questions from the broad realm of mathematics. Teams from Lakeland College, UW-Stevens Point, Winona State University, St. Norbert College, Loras College, Bradley University, Wisconsin Lutheran College, and Ripon College competed.
