Kenosha student presents at National Conference on Undergraduate Research

2017 Apr 13

Theresa Regetz of Kenosha was one of 28 Carthage College students to present at the 2017 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), which was held April 6-8 at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. NCUR is the country's largest conference dedicated to undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative works in all disciplines.

Theresa presented "Partial Reinforcement During Signaled Lever-Press Avoidance Training Is Less Detrimental To Learning In Behaviorally Inhibited Wistar-Kyoto Rats Compared To Sprague Dawley Rats".

Carthage students at NCUR represented a wide variety of disciplines. At the conference, they gave either oral or poster presentations, received feedback on their work, learned more about available career options, and viewed other research in their fields.
