Leah Boldt named CCIW Women's Swimmer of the Week

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced Jan. 30 that Carthage's Leah Boldt has been selected Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Boldt helped lead Carthage to a first-place finish at the Wisconsin Private College Championship the previous Saturday. She swam a lifetime best with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:20.95.

Boldt also finished with an unrested time of 2:32.55 in the 200-yard breaststroke, as she finished second in the event. That time was only 0.5 seconds off of her lifetime best.
