Sarah Kellogg of Capron, IL participated in a Summer J-Term study tour to Israel.

Religion and Classics professor Daniel Schowalter co-directed excavations at Omrit, near Kiryat Shemona in northern Israel. The Omrit site features a series of Roman temples built between 50 B.C.E. and 80 C.E. Students were exposed to the details of field archaeology, the history and religious development of the "Holy Land," and the modern social and political challenges of the region.
