West Allis student travels to Enactus National Competition with Carthage College

2017 Jun 9

Katherine Krizan from West Allis traveled with the Carthage chapter of Enactus to the organization's national exposition. The group earned their bid at the Chicago Regional Competition. While the team has advanced over the years, it is an accomplishment as only about 175 of over 450 teams are invited to nationals. This is the ninth consecutive year the group has gone to the national exposition.

This year the team was able to take 15 members with the help of the advisors Jennifer Madden, Art Cyr, and David Schlichting. Although the team did not move on to the semi-final round, the speakers astoundingly represented the team as they presented on the projects (see below) from the year to a panel of judges.

The Carthage College Enactus team is open to all majors and works hard to develop projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people both in the community and internationally. If you are interested in joining the team or becoming a mentor, please contact us at enactus@carthage.edu.
