French Club is dedicated to furthering understanding of French culture and language, and instilling a sense of camaraderie within the Modern Languages Department. The organization aims to strengthen the French program by promoting academic progress in a way that is active, hands-on, and enjoyable.

Carthage United to Rescue Earth is an organization dedicated to spreading environmental awareness in the Carthage community as well as the Kenosha/Racine communities. We do a lot of volunteer work as well as on campus programs to help students make better, greener, choices in their everyday life.

The Carthage Chemistry Club is an active member of the American Chemical Society, and has been recognized by ACS with Honorable Mention Chapter Awards. The club meets biweekly to organize outreach events at local schools or on campus, plan and attend social events, celebrate National Chemistry Week, and create a strong community within the Carthage Chemistry Department.

Computer Science Club is open to all members of the Carthage community interested in computer science. The club meets twice a month, hosts a CS journal club, and is involved in philanthropic activities related to computer science.

Members of Chinese Club - Fall 2013

Chinese Club meets every few weeks to enjoy Chinese culture, practice Chinese, and help each other with homework. Each year, club members visit Chicago's Chinatown to enjoy authentic Chinese food and practice Chinese with natives. Chinese Club members also learn about pop culture in China, study ancient culture, and learn about holidays like Spring Festival and National Day.

COIL -- Carthage On Individual Liberty -- is a political catch-all group on campus, loosely affiliated with YAL (Young Americans for Liberty, a national organization. COIL fosters discussion about political views that tend to be ignored by the major parties (Federal Reserve, War on Drugs, Alternative Foreign Policies, etc.). All perspectives on all political issues are encouraged.

Art Club is open to all majors and artistic abilities. The club's main goal is to come together once a week to create, appreciate, and learn about art in a relaxing and stress free environment. Active Minds is a national organization that aims to educate students about the prevalence of mental illness among college students. One in 4 college students suffers from some form of mental illness. The Carthage chapter of Active Minds aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health disorders on campus.
