The Carthage Chemistry Club is an active member of the American Chemical Society, and has been recognized by ACS with Honorable Mention Chapter Awards. The club meets biweekly to organize outreach events at local schools or on campus, plan and attend social events, celebrate National Chemistry Week, and create a strong community within the Carthage Chemistry Department.

Chinese Club meets every few weeks to enjoy Chinese culture, practice Chinese, and help each other with homework. Each year, club members visit Chicago's Chinatown to enjoy authentic Chinese food and practice Chinese with natives. Chinese Club members also learn about pop culture in China, study ancient culture, and learn about holidays like Spring Festival and National Day.

COIL -- Carthage On Individual Liberty -- is a political catch-all group on campus, loosely affiliated with YAL (Young Americans for Liberty, a national organization. COIL fosters discussion about political views that tend to be ignored by the major parties (Federal Reserve, War on Drugs, Alternative Foreign Policies, etc.). All perspectives on all political issues are encouraged.
