Four students represented Carthage College's Habitat for Humanity organization at the 2025 Habitat on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

Carthage Mock Trial completed its fall invitational season at the Fantastic Flyer Tournament, hosted by Lewis University Nov. 23-24. Members of the Mock Trial Team act as attorneys and witnesses and present the case as the plaintiff and defense while being scored on how well they know the law.

Celebrating the legacy of the civil rights leader, Carthage College's Office of Equity and Inclusion honored three students - Grace Chapa '24, Abby Davidson '25, and Julia Peters '24 - with the first Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Awards on Jan. 15, 2024.

Carthage College's Nursing Class of 2026 celebrated its White Coat Ceremony on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the A. F. Siebert Chapel on campus in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The White Coat Ceremony represents the end of all pre-nursing classes for the 68 students. As juniors, this milestone signifies their transition to vocational coursework for the remaining two years at Carthage before becoming a professional nurse.

Carthage College had 31 students participate in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) fall auditions on Nov. 1-2 at UW-Milwaukee. Several Carthage students qualified to compete in the regional National Student Auditions.

To celebrate the Advent season, Carthage College students participated in the 149th Christmas Festival the weekend of Dec. 1-3, 2023 in the magnificent A. F. Siebert Chapel in Kenosha, Wis.

Carthage College selected 36 students for its Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE). The SURE program offers Carthage students in all majors an opportunity to engage in collaborative full-time research with professors. Students work closely with faculty mentors on a new or developing line of research. Many students present their research at the annual Celebration of Scholars event the following spring. SURE has been a hallmark of the Carthage experience since the mid-1990s. SURE started in the natural sciences and grew to include all academic divisions at Carthage.

The SURE program at Carthage offers students in all majors the opportunity to engage in collaborative full-time research with professors. Students work closely with faculty mentors on a new or developing line of research. SURE has been a hallmark of the Carthage experience since the mid-1990s. SURE started in the natural sciences and grew to include all academic divisions at Carthage. Each summer, between 25 and 50 students are chosen to participate.

Students studying Japanese at Carthage participated in the Annual Japanese Speech and Recitation Contest, hosted virtually by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on March 4.

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced their 2021 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference honorees. The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference list comprises those individuals that achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective school.

Professor Janet Levey's Improving Health Outcomes of Population clinical group had a unique opportunity to provide community health nursing teaching and screening services to vulnerable populations during the second 7-week course of the fall term.

Noah Schafer '22 coordinated a fundraiser through the Carthage Association of Nursing Students (CANS) to purchase critically needed items for Hoover Elemenentary.
