Williams led the CCIW with 25 caused turnovers on the season. He also scooped 43 ground balls for the Red Men this season, which ranks third on the team. For his career, Williams owns four goals and three assists for seven points. He also carries 142 caused turnovers and 198 ground balls in his three seasons of service to the Red Men. His 142 caused turnovers ranks first in the Carthage College record books while his 198 ground balls is good enough for third.

Two Carthage College players were named to the 2016 "D3baseball.com" All-Central Region team. Shortstop/outfielder Jordan Wiegold was named first-team all-region while first baseman Reed Hero earned second-team all-region honors.

A total of 833 students have been named to the Carthage College Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester.

The Carthage chapter of Enactus headed to the organization's national exposition for the eighth straight year. The group earned their bid at the Chicago regional competition on March 21. This year's national exposition was held May 15-17 in St. Louis.

Under the direction of Prof. Edward Kawakami, and in partnership with the Fifth House Ensemble, Carthage presented a day of Chamber Music.

The Music Honors Recital is a long standing tradition at Carthage. It is considered "the most prestigious annual event celebrating our music students in individual performances" by Music Department Chair and Director of Carthage Choir Prof. Eduardo Garcia-Novelli. Students who wish to perform in the recital must go through an audition, which is a highly competitive process.

On Sunday, May 8 at 4 p.m. in the A. F. Siebert Chapel, the choirs at Carthage participated in the annual Spring Choral Concert.

"The Marriage of Figaro" is one of the great comic masterworks by Mozart, based on a revolutionary play by Beaumarchais that upended many of the stereotypes of the day by portraying servants as both intellectually and morally superior to their masters. The music is brilliant and the comedy remains fresh even 230 years after the opera was written. The Carthage Opera Workshop performed an abridged version of the work.
