CCIW Indoor Track and Field Champions
The Carthage College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the CCIW Indoor Championships at North Central College in Naperville, Ill at the Al B. Carius Track. Both teams finished third overall, but there were four individual champions.

Member of Arts and Creativity Leadership Team
The Arts and Creativity Leadership Team (ACLT) is made up of exceptional arts students with an interest in community engagement, artistic excellence, and arts advocacy. The leaders were nominated by peers and faculty members, and serve as advisors for the annual Arts and Creativity Festival. Members of the ACLT also take on project management for events such as the Family Arts Carnival and the Arts Everywhere Initiative.

Mock Trial wins bid to national tournament
Carthage pulled through after some close rounds and finished with a 5-2-1 record at the Joliet Regional Tournament in Joliet, Illinois earning them a trip to the national tournament in Geneva, Illinois, to be held in early March. The last time Carthage had a team qualify was in 2012.

Carthage Women's Ensemble selected for national conference performance
The Carthage Women's Ensemble were selected to perform in the Music in Worship event at the American Choral Directors Association North Central Division Conference. They were selected to perform through blind reviews of recordings of the choir from the previous three years.

Nominated for a Goldwater Scholarship
The Goldwater Scholarship is a federally endowed award honoring former senator Barry Goldwater. It is designed to support and encourage students to pursue careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering fields. It provides up to $7,500 in funding per year over one or two years. Sophomores and juniors with an interest in entering research-based graduate school are eligible to apply.

MCVL Player of the Week - Vollyball
The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) has selected Carthage's Marc Hansen as MCVL Defensive Player of the Week. Hansen, a junior libero for Carthage, averaged 3.29 digs per set in two games and captured a team-high 11 digs in the Red Men's 3-1 win over Quincy. Hansen also collected 12 digs in Carthage's loss at Lindenwood. Hansen is a native of Oak Lawn, Ill. and is majoring in Mathematics.

KCACTF Region III Musical Theatre Intensive Finalist
The goal of the Intensive is to celebrate and recognize outstanding musical theatre students. Selected performers are offered the chance to work hands-on with Musical Theatre professionals and participate in a cabaret performance to be held at the end of the week of the festival.
