The Annual Juried Student Art Show was held during Fine Arts Weekend. This show, open to all Carthage students and juried by a guest artist/critic, featured the best of drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, ceramics, and design.

Participated in Carthage's Fine Arts Weekend - Dance
Carthage Dance participated in two events during Fine Arts Weekend. First, there was a performance celebrating the opening of "Ebb and Flow," the new art exhibit in the Johnson Art Gallery. There was also an informal performance that featured original works created and performed by dance minors in the third and final feedback showing for the upcoming student dance concert, "Away From The Mirror."

The ONE Campus Challenge Student Advisory Board is a national committee comprised of top student advocates from around the country. On this study tour, students examined multiple aspects of French culture and music while staying in Paris. They learned about French people by observation of and interaction with French civilization through daily, guided visits to points of interest best-suited to acquire knowledge in history, architecture, and the arts.

Students on this tour studied the sustainability of rural development practices around Lago Atitlan and in El Peten. While primarily an economics class, the sustainability of economic progress often rests on questions of sustainability of natural systems as well as the effectiveness of the social institutions responsible for governance, education, contract enforcement, and public safety.

Students on this tour engaged in writing in a variety of journalistic genres related to the live football games they attended throughout Western Europe. Students visited club museums and explored the history and culture of European football in some of the greatest football venues in Europe.

This study tour focused on political economy, business, and economics in the countries of Southern Africa. The group studied contemporary South Africa, including the challenge to the Nationalist Party by black and white opposition groups and the international anti-apartheid movement, as well as the construction of the modern economy and post-apartheid democracy.
